Rua do Mundo® was created in 2014 by Filipa Teles. Graduated in Photography, Portuguese Decorative Arts and Heritage and Culture Management, author of Rua do Mundo Photography. The Photographs and the collection of magnetic Azulejo are the first pieces created and sold by the brand.

It naturally evolves and identifies itself as a brand of local and conscious production, on a small scale, with more pieces, inspired by the Portuguese architectural and cultural heritage. Created, executed and packaged in Portugal.

The name Rua do Mundo is inspired by the name of the former Rua de São Roque, today Rua da Misericórdia, in Lisbon.

There are patterns, urban and architectural details in Rua do Mundo® that reveal the essence and uniqueness of everyday life in Portugal. Each image tells a story and highlights elements that adorn and illuminate routines, which often go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Elements that, when observed, can have the power to brighten up our days, such as a detail of a building, a picturesque window or door, colorful tiles, original paving stones, plays of light and shadow, trees and flowers that mark the seasons of the year in the places, textures of walls that are similar to paintings or remind us of wall maps of the world.

Welcome to Rua do Mundo.
